• Open, track, assign and monitor Risk Management Agency (RMA) Regional Compliance Office Cases • Communicate with RMA Compliance personnel and other stakeholders (agents, UWs, field claims), and drafting formal responses to RMA Compliance Cases • Research and Interpret policy provisions to provide formal written responses to RMA Regional Compliance Offices • Assist with process and system improvements • Assist in the continuous monitoring and the reporting processes as required by the SRA • Monitor HyDRA (data mining reports) – the reports are downloaded, tracked, and assigned by analyst • Other duties as assigned such as Quality Control reporting
• Minimum 2 years of crop insurance experience such as claims and/or underwriting • Preferred CAPP Certification, but not required • General crop insurance and knowledge to access information from applicable handbooks • High School Diploma or equivalent experience • Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization • Proficiency in computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook plus PDF program • Strong attention to detail • Ability to successfully handle multiple assignments and coordinate several projects with changing priorities • Ability to work both autonomously and effectively in a team environment • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field is preferred, but not required • Willingness to travel up to 15%; 1-2 times a year for meetings
