📋 Description

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reimbursements • Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, ensure timely payments, and resolve vendor discrepancies and inquiries • Generate customer invoices, monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve billing issues • Perform regular bank reconciliations • Assist with month-end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports • Assist in preparing financial statements, variance analyses, and ad hoc financial reports • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and addressing audit findings • Identify process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function • Collaborate with procurement, sales, operations, and finance teams to address financial issues and support organizational goals • Reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Highly adaptable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with clients and team members • Ability to identify priorities and meet deadlines • CPA certification preferred but not required • Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, HubSpot or Bank of America CashPro a plus • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
