📋 Description

• Own the QA process for internal cybersecurity tools and platforms, including SIEM, vulnerability management, GRC/compliance systems, and identity and access management • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites • Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution • Develop risk-based testing approaches aligned with business and security impact • Validate data integrity, access controls, and business logic across system changes, upgrades, and migrations • Assess control weaknesses, recommend improvements, and assist with reporting deficiencies • Establish and report QA metrics such as defect density, escape rate, and test coverage to leadership • Document business processes using flowcharts and process narratives • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from Information Security and internal stakeholders • Translate business and security needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews • Liaise between business users and technical teams • Plan and track timelines, milestones, and dependencies for security system initiatives • Coordinate UAT cycles, release readiness checklists, and go-live activities • Communicate status, risks, and blockers to stakeholders • Maintain current knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, compliance standards, and relevant technical and business matters

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree • 5–7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or a related technical role • Proficiency with QA methodologies, testing tools, and defect tracking/test management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and acceptance criteria • Experience coordinating small- to mid-size projects, including UAT cycles and release readiness • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, time management, and ability to prioritize deliverables • Cybersecurity experience is a plus, including familiarity with SIEM, vulnerability scanners, GRC/compliance platforms, access control, audit logging, secure SDLC, or compliance-driven environments • Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST is a plus • Requires regular interaction with internal senior leaders and cross-functional teams • Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States
