📋 Description

• Organize and coordinate assigned staff activities to ensure safe, effective, appropriate, and fiscally responsible work • Handle and solve problems related to the assigned area • Coordinate registration and pre-registration duties and ensure completion of daily work • Train, coach, and develop Patient Access staff • Monitor daily productivity and communicate with staff • Prepare and review performance reports covering point of service, wait times, overtime, productivity, and other key metrics • Assign and coordinate staff schedules, rotations, time off, and call-offs • Track and monitor upfront collections, assign goals, and provide coaching or corrective action • Participate in an on-call rotation covering days, nights, and weekends as necessary • Provide administrative and educational guidance during on-call duties and fill in for staffing issues or unexpected volumes when necessary • Develop department processes and procedures, conduct audits, and provide ongoing coaching and education • Serve as a resource for staff and ancillary departments and promote excellent customer service • Manage assigned projects involving implementation, tracking, and process changes; report to Patient Access Leadership • Participate in facility activities and work in designated department areas as needed • Assist with staff evaluations and maintain the time/attendance system • Attend facility meetings as required to ensure process alignment and communication

🎯 Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of job experience • Certified Healthcare Access Management (CHAM) • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) • 2 Year/Associate degree or 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 2–3 years of supervisory experience in healthcare or business field preferred • Ability to lead/direct others • High degree of analytical ability • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Knowledge of registration, insurance, scheduling, and/or verification and hospital billing • Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States
