📋 Description

• Facilitate virtual psychoeducational, skills-building, and therapeutic group sessions in accordance with ASAM criteria and program requirements • Support individuals in identifying treatment goals and applying recovery-oriented skills • Maintain group structure, safety, engagement, and therapeutic boundaries in a virtual environment • Monitor participant participation and report clinical or safety concerns requiring supervisory or clinical review • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care • Complete accurate and timely documentation, including group notes and attendance records, in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EPIC Health Partners standards • Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed within scope of role • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities

🎯 Requirements

• Active registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or CSAC supervisee • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing substance use and/or mental health services in individual, family, or group settings • Knowledge of ASAM criteria, relapse-prevention strategies, and evidence-based addiction treatment approaches • Ability to facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups in a virtual setting • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to maintain a private, confidential workspace and reliable internet access for telehealth service
