📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting • Implement FBT, CBT-E, CBT for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time for administrative tasks • Participate in initial and ongoing trainings • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers • Use between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR • Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings • Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain additional state licenses as requested • Work closely with a multidisciplinary care team including nutrition, medical, psychiatry, and mentorship • Deliver evidence-based treatment, quality documentation, and ongoing assessment of patients’ and families’ needs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in the state of Iowa • Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds and cultures, and varying degrees of acuity • Passion for evidence-based care and treatment • Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week, available until 8pm in the patient caseload’s primary time zone • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment • Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm throughout the week, or 3pm in Mountain Standard Time • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Master’s or Doctoral degree from a mental health counseling/therapy program accredited by CACREP, COAMFTE, CSWE, MPCAC, or an equivalent accrediting body • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Preferred: Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment • Preferred: Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings • Preferred: Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma • Preferred: Case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team • Must be willing to provide care exclusively in a virtual/telehealth environment • Reliable internet and a private workspace required
