📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth setting • Implement FBT, CBT-E, CBT-AR, and other evidence-based treatments across the lifespan • Maintain a caseload of 30-40 patients, providing 20-26 hours of direct care and completing administrative tasks • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers • Use between-session messaging and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR • Participate in treatment team meetings, supervision, department meetings, and ongoing trainings • Maintain licensure in the home state and obtain additional licenses as requested • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Virginia • Ability to support patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, cultures, and varying acuity • Ability to provide care two evenings per week until 8pm in the patient caseload’s primary time zone • Ability to provide 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm during the week, or 3pm in Mountain Standard Time • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Passion for evidence-based care and treatment • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment • Graduate program completion; application requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited mental health counseling/therapy program or equivalent accrediting body • Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment preferred but not required • Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings preferred but not required • Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma preferred but not required • Case management experience and/or multidisciplinary care team experience preferred but not required • Legal authorization to work in the United States
