📋 Description

• Provide ongoing nutrition support to help patients transform maladaptive eating patterns into a healthy relationship with food • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through telehealth nutrition assessments, meal plans, and target weight range assessments • Guide exposure to fear/challenge foods • Communicate meal plans and nutrition concerns to treatment team members and educate them on resolving nutrition-related concerns • Echo treatment team directives in interactions with families • Assist with discharge planning • Update treatment plans weekly with patient progress, goals, assignments, and concerns • Reassess nutritional needs and communicate recommendations to the treatment team and families • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education addressing irrational thoughts and beliefs around food, nutrition, weight, and shape • Establish therapeutic relationships with families, including rapport building, boundary setting, and working alliances • Thoroughly document care in Equip’s electronic medical record • Attend mandatory meetings and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must have license in Tennessee • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or college and coursework accredited or approved by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) • Licensed RDN required • Eating disorder experience preferred • Exposure to or experience with family-based eating disorder treatment approaches preferred but not required • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 80 patients, with each patient receiving care for up to 52 weeks • Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams • Experience working on interdisciplinary teams • Organized and results-driven • Ability to understand and balance business needs and clinical priorities • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment subject to rapid change and innovation • Availability for 30 hours per week of direct patient care • Availability for a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2 pm in patients’ time zones throughout the week • Ability to work until 8 pm two evenings per week • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Providers must be licensed or registered as required in every state where they deliver care
