• Deliver comprehensive medical assessments and evidence-based treatment for co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions associated with eating disorders • Support patients and families throughout the recovery process • Monitor vital signs, laboratory data, and clinical indicators for medical stability in an outpatient virtual setting • Order labs, prescribe medications, obtain medical records, and facilitate external care collaboration with medical assistants and nurses • Partner within a 5-person treatment team to establish medical guidelines and individualized care plans • Respond to patient and family inquiries through EMR messaging and internal communication channels • Complete session notes, medical assessments, and documentation in the electronic medical record within 24 hours • Collaborate with outside primary care providers, specialists, and inpatient/residential facilities as needed • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, clinical case reviews, department meetings, and continuing education initiatives • Provide direct patient care without administrative or clinical supervision responsibilities for APPs
• Graduate of an accredited medical school holding an MD or DO degree • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics • 3+ years of clinical practice experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations in outpatient or virtual care environments • Experience in eating disorder medical management and evidence-based stabilization protocols strongly preferred but not required • Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Alabama, Mississippi, Nevada, Tennessee, or South Carolina; or meet an alternative IMLC/licensure pathway requirement • For the IMLC pathway, reside in an IMLC member state and hold or be eligible to obtain a Letter of Qualification • Proven capability in high-acuity, high-volume virtual care delivery • Sound clinical decision-making skills • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • High clinical maturity for complex, sensitive eating disorder cases • Empathy and patient-centered mindset • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced digital health organization • Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday • Ability to work two evenings per week Monday-Friday until 6 p.m. in the patient population's time zone • Ability and willingness to provide care exclusively in a virtual/telehealth environment • Reliable internet and a private workspace
