📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic/telehealth setting • Implement Family-Based Treatment (FBT), enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), cognitive behavioral therapy for ARFID, and other evidence-based treatments • Treat patients across the lifespan with eating disorders and their loved ones • Maintain a caseload of 30-40, with 20-26 hours of direct care and remaining time dedicated to administrative tasks • Participate in initial and ongoing trainings • Assess and diagnose mental health conditions • Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, patient mentors, family mentors, and outside providers • Use between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through Equip’s EMR • Participate in Treatment Team meetings, supervision, and department meetings • Maintain licensure and obtain additional state licenses as requested • Attend mandatory group supervision, treatment huddles, labs/all-hands, and individual supervision meetings • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in Nebraska • Ability to support a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds and cultures, and varying degrees of acuity • Passion for evidence-based care and treatment • Ability to provide care 2 evenings per week, remaining available until 8pm in the patient caseload’s primary time zone • Ability to provide 30 hours a week of availability for direct patient care • Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours of direct patient care after 2pm in the respective patient care time zone throughout the week (3pm if living in Mountain Standard Time) • Ability to attend mandatory meetings • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting • Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment • Experience in Family-Based Treatment and/or eating disorder treatment preferred but not required • Experience with evidence-based treatment and/or intensive treatment settings preferred but not required • Experience supporting patients with suicidal ideation and trauma preferred but not required • Case management experience and/or experience working closely with a multidisciplinary care team preferred but not required • Must be willing to maintain licensure in the home state and obtain licensure in other states as requested • Reliable internet and a private workspace • Willingness to provide care exclusively in a virtual/telehealth environment • Graduate program in mental health counseling/therapy and completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree from a qualifying accredited program, as reflected in the required application questions
