📋 Description

• Train and guide Agents in a designated branch territory and additional assigned branch offices in promoting and selling life insurance and annuity products • Provide assistance with production, product knowledge and application, underwriting, and agency management • Examine and evaluate Agents’ books of business to identify life insurance and annuity cross-selling opportunities • Maintain favorable agency and policyholder relationships as a company representative • Assist branch managers and district sales managers in establishing short- and long-range life insurance and annuity sales objectives • Provide training and direction to ERIE Agents on product promotion and sales • Educate Agents on approved marketing and sales tools, techniques, and Erie Family Life products • Collaborate with Agents to identify prospecting opportunities • Accompany Agents on sales calls, service existing customers, and write new business • Serve as liaison between the Home Office and field, resolving issues and communicating program changes • Represent the company in directed community relations activities • Develop marketing and prospecting programs for life insurance and annuity sales • Collaborate with Home Office and Branch Office marketing personnel on incentive campaigns • Assist in selecting and training newly appointed Agents, life producers, and customer service representatives • Handle Agency relationships and business as a licensed life insurance Agent according to company policy • Advise Home Office personnel on competitive intelligence related to Agents and agency management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in insurance, sales, marketing or related field and five years’ experience in sales, investment and/or annuity products or life insurance-related experience; or • Associate’s degree in insurance, sales, marketing or related field and seven years’ relevant experience; or • High School diploma or GED and nine years’ relevant experience • Minimum of two years' experience in sales of life insurance • Must live in the state assigned unless a change is approved by the company • Frequent overnight travel required • Related designations such as CIC, CFP, ChFC, or CLU preferred • Must be willing to travel throughout the assigned territory • Frequent driving required • Ability to lift/move 0–20 lbs and occasionally 20–50 lbs; ability to move over 50 lbs using lifting-aide equipment • Manual keying, data entry, computer use, and accessing heights may be required
