📋 Description

• Own the estimating process from start to finish across projects ranging from $100K to $10M+ • Review plans, specifications, and drawings to build accurate, competitive estimates • Prepare bids using Accubid or similar estimating tools • Analyze scope, pricing, and risk for completeness and accuracy • Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing • Develop clear, competitive bid packages with inclusions and exclusions • Partner with internal teams to finalize and deliver winning bids • Support project handoff by communicating scope and expectations • Provide value engineering ideas to maintain a competitive edge • Attend pre-bid walkthroughs if located in the Tampa area • Build relationships with general contractors if located in the Tampa area • Participate in local industry events if located in the Tampa area

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience • Experience with Accubid LiveCount • Strong understanding of electrical construction across project types • Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and relationship-building skills • Field experience is a plus • Must be located in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Tennessee • All applicants are subject to a criminal background check and drug test approval prior to employment
