📋 Description

• Manage and resolve high volumes of patient accounts for services provided by Essentia Health • Act as the primary contact or liaison for patients regarding outstanding statements and inquiries • Provide support for insurance, coding, registration, financial assistance, and billing-related issues • Provide financial assistance via face-to-face communication and telephone using automated phone technology • Analyze accounts and develop and implement action plans with patients to resolve financial responsibilities • Follow up on delinquent accounts and payment plans • Collect patient accounts and follow up on collections by telephone or letters • Handle incoming patient mail and respond to inquiries via written communication

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with handling cash payments • Self-pay collections experience • Exceptional customer service skills • Knowledge of computers, software applications, printer, FAX, copier, and billing programs • Experience preferred in customer service, call center and/or collections • No educational requirement • No certification/licensure required
