📋 Description

• Serve as strategic financial advisor to executive leadership, providing CFO-level guidance on performance, priorities, growth, risk, and sustainability • Lead preparation, review, and analysis of GAAP-compliant internal and external financial statements • Develop and oversee operating and capital budgets, long-range plans, rolling forecasts, and financial models • Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, productivity, and service-line performance; identify trends, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions • Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, banking relationships, debt obligations, working capital, and investment performance • Advise on capital allocation and major financial commitments; develop business cases, ROI analyses, sensitivity analyses, and projections • Assess and improve financial systems, reporting tools, accounting processes, and internal controls • Provide executive oversight of general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls • Oversee reimbursement and payer-related matters, including Medicare, Medicaid, cost reporting, reimbursement analysis, and regulatory reporting • Partner with operational leaders to improve financial literacy, metrics, and budget accountability • Lead or coordinate annual audits and external reviews; liaise with auditors, actuaries, tax advisors, banks, consultants, and other financial partners • Oversee federal, state, and local financial and tax reporting requirements • Evaluate and update financial policies, procedures, and internal controls • Prepare executive and board presentations, dashboards, forecasts, and recommendations • Provide financial due diligence and integration support for acquisitions, affiliations, new service lines, restructuring, and strategic transactions • Coach and develop finance leaders and staff and recommend organizational or staffing changes • Assist with turnaround, stabilization, cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and performance improvement initiatives • Maintain confidentiality and sound professional judgment with sensitive information • Perform other CFO-level financial consulting and strategic assignments as requested

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline preferred • CPA, CMA, or other advanced financial credential preferred • 7-10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience, including senior finance, controller, VP Finance, or CFO-level responsibilities • Healthcare finance experience strongly preferred • Demonstrated ability to advise executive teams and boards, lead financial strategy, manage complex financial operations, and translate financial information into clear business recommendations • Executive-level financial acumen • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, internal controls, audit coordination, and financial analysis • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to executives, board members, operational leaders, and stakeholders • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills • Ability to identify financial risk and develop practical, sustainable solutions • Ability to influence and advise leaders while maintaining an objective, consultative approach • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize competing initiatives and meet deadlines • Commitment to collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, service excellence, and ethical financial practices • Advanced proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools • Stable internet connection, quiet dedicated workspace, and necessary office equipment • Ability to work required hours to complete critical projects, reporting, audits, and executive deliverables • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
