📋 Description

• Lead and optimize the Business Intelligence engineering team • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of BI systems and solutions • Establish SLAs for data availability and accuracy • Produce and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Looker, or Tableau • Conduct discovery based on business requirements, including reading production code and documentation, user testing the app, and meeting with engineering and system owners • Connect external data sources and build long-term data pipelines to the main data warehouse • Design and implement complex SQL/dbt data models for dashboards and ad hoc analysis • Automate dbt/SQL models using Apache Airflow, MWAA, or dbt Jobs • Design, build, and maintain Airflow DAGs for ETL pipelines • Support production deployment using CircleCI or GitHub Actions • Provide peer code review feedback on GitHub pull requests • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders • Contribute to long-term data strategy and roadmap development • Establish data governance, quality control, and documentation standards • Manage projects using Kanban, Agile, or Scrum methodologies • Perform and document advanced analyses in large-scale data warehouse environments • Travel to EverCommerce headquarters in Denver, Colorado, for five business days per quarter

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field • Five (5) years of experience as a Marketing Analyst, Marketing Analytics Manager, Data Science Program Manager, BI Engineer, or a closely related occupation • Two (2) of the five (5) years of experience must be in a managerial or team lead position within a BI engineering/data warehousing or similar industry • Demonstrable knowledge and prior experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or Databricks • Demonstrable knowledge and prior experience with Power BI, Looker, or Tableau • Demonstrable knowledge and prior experience with Confluence, Notion, or Google Docs/Drive • Demonstrable knowledge and prior experience with Apache Airflow, MWAA, or dbt Jobs • Experience designing and implementing complex data models using SQL and dbt • Experience designing, building, and maintaining DAGs for ETL pipelines in Apache Airflow • Experience leading, mentoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to gather reporting and data requirements • Experience with CircleCI or GitHub Actions • Experience with Kanban, Agile, or Scrum methodologies • Must have U.S. employment authorization • Must not be in F-1 or H-1 status or otherwise require employer sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization
