📋 Description

• Consult with Science, Creative, Account, and Planning teams to create compelling medical content across digital and print media • Identify new clinical developments and apply disease-state knowledge to drive client business growth through promotional and unbranded initiatives • Analyze clinical data, conduct literature searches, participate in medical conferences, and perform competitive analyses • Engage and inform colleagues, healthcare professionals, clients, and medical, legal, and regulatory groups • Collaborate and communicate deliverables and strategic recommendations with clients • Manage and mentor junior Medical team members • Guide the creation of clinically cogent promotional materials and ensure effective use of clinical data for strategic brand objectives • Improve medical literacy across agency groups and provide understanding of disease states, clinical trials, and treatments • Guide submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and incorporate client and regulatory feedback • Travel occasionally, less than 10% • Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced clinical/scientific degree such as MD, PhD, or PharmD • At least seven years of experience in an agency or the pharmaceutical industry supporting marketing or medical communications • Agency experience is ideal • Passion for science and medicine • Proven track record of communicating medical advances to different audiences • Ability to get up to speed quickly on new therapeutic areas • Ability to lead and execute content development, including data analysis, for complex projects with minimal review/direction • Ability to independently and accurately incorporate strategic concepts into projects and guide others to do so
