📋 Description

• Monitor current affairs with a focus on the Americas and APAC regions to detect events, such as geopolitical crises, natural disasters, labor strikes, trade restrictions, etc. that can impact supply chain resiliency. • Analyze incoming data streams for relevancy and impact, and report time-sensitive risk alerts for clients based on information obtained from open-source articles, and exclusive and proprietary sources. • Other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or any other Social Sciences. • English: Proficient, both oral and written. Ability to write error-free is a must. • Chinese (Mandarin) proficiency highly desirable. • Passion for current affairs and news, with knowledge of socioeconomic & political dynamics in the Americas and the APAC regions, and a basic understanding of supply chain processes. • Ability to act in a global environment, with good interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural differences and behaviors. • Ability to work in a fluid and fast paced environment and manage uncertainty. • 15-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 2-6pm Eastern time or the equivalent Central, Mountain, or Pacific time. • Candidate must be available from June 2026 for a period of 5-6 months
