📋 Description

• Receive electronic prescriptions, weekly batches, and refill requests and accurately fill prescriptions under Pharmacist direction • Handle, count, mix, and package medications • Enter minor edits to correct dispensing quantity and manufacturer NDC • Perform reclamation duties • Use pharmacy software to check and record prescription data • Liaise between customers, providers, and the pharmacy • Receive and triage incoming calls and messages to answer questions, fill prescription orders, and handle requests • Establish and maintain patient profiles and medication lists • Document medication care plans using proprietary software • Support compliance, efficiency, and quality of pharmacy operations • Participate in quality initiatives and report quality assurance issues • Secure information according to company privacy and security guidelines and HIPAA • Embody AnewHealth’s Core Values in communications and interactions • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma required • Must be registered or eligible to become registered with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy • Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting • Proficient with MS Office Suite • Strong computer proficiency navigating proprietary and other software • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially via phone • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, clients, and agency representatives • Strong patient-centered focus • Understanding of clinical terms and impacts • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality • Detail-oriented and organized • High level of integrity • Quality-oriented • Innovative • Steadfast • Must be eligible to work in the United States
