📋 Description

• Support and manage Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases in production and non-production environments • Install, configure, and monitor databases • Ensure compliance with security, audit, SOX, and PHI standards • Optimize SQL and PL/SQL performance • Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents within SLAs • Design and implement data models, mirroring, and backup/recovery strategies • Automate processes using Shell, PowerShell, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and Perl • Collaborate with application teams and vendors on database solutions and lifecycle management • Provide 24x7 support, including on-call rotation and weekend coverage • Stay current with cloud technologies and AI/GenAI advancements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) • 8+ years as a Senior DBA • Expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and other RDBMS • Linux infrastructure management experience • 3+ years of hands-on administration experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle APEX, AWS, and Azure • Hands-on experience with Oracle Single Instance/RAC, Multitenant, and Active Data Guard • SQL Server experience • Expertise in RDBMS installations, patching, and upgrades • SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning • Experience managing large databases (>50 TB) • Strong Linux administration and scripting skills • Experience with AI/GenAI technologies and AI-driven database automation • Exposure to AI in cloud ecosystems, including AWS AI services and Azure Cognitive Services • Experience with S3 buckets and file transfers • Knowledge of MongoDB and other RDBMS • Compliance management and audit support experience • Experience collaborating with development and product teams • Ability to work independently and in teams
