📋 Description

• Assist the team with the timely and accurate movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. • Timely & accurate unloading/loading of trucks. • Accurate weighing and dimensioning of freight. • Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts. • Report shortages, damages and/or discrepancies on appropriate forms. • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operational system. • Compare quantity, labeling and address with orders to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. • Accurately label freight with zero cross-labels. • Put away, pick, and stage freight; ensure all freight is put away into a location and accounted for (PUT’s & LDD). • Fill out documentation as required. • Identify and match numbers and country codes. • Interact with the office to meet customer service standards. • Contribute to maintaining good customer relationships, with zero mis-ships, cross labels, or damage to customer freight. • Help ensure a clean and safe warehouse environment, including the Temperature Controlled Room. • Check in drivers in the ProxyClick system and verify their information, if trained. • Understand department process flow and identify best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, divide, multiply) and write legibly. • Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods. • Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. • Must be able to use proper lifting techniques with weights up to 40lbs. • The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important. • Must be able to handle stress caused in meeting deadlines with tight scheduling requirements. • Must be able to shift priorities easily. • Must be able to use hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements. • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results. • Organized and has good time management skills • Must have excellent work habits. • Fork-lift certification and Security Threat Assessment will be required upon successful employment. • Easily adaptable to changes. • Stress tolerant • Reliable and motivated. • Confidence to work collaboratively with others on the team. • Has a positive attitude and works with others well. • Hourly position, and must comply with all attendance and tardiness and vacation policies.
