📋 Description

• Monitor OSINT, dark web forums, proprietary feeds, and internal sources to identify and evaluate potential cyber threats • Review MDR security incidents to identify root causes and vulnerabilities exploited in real-world attacks • Participate in threat intelligence sharing communities and forums • Analyze threat data and vulnerability scans to assess cyber-threat impact and likelihood and prioritize critical vulnerabilities for customers • Produce threat intelligence reports containing IOCs, TTPs, and mitigation strategies • Combine external threat feeds with root-cause analysis to provide insight into actively targeted vulnerabilities • Improve threat intelligence processes, tools, and methodologies • Act as a subject-matter expert on current and emerging threats for Phishing and MDR analysts • Support client inquiries and understanding of cyber threats

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management • Proven conflict management and verbal and written communication skills • Effective project and time management skills • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills • Solid knowledge of common cyber threat vectors, tools, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors • Ability to conduct detailed incident reviews identifying root causes and vulnerabilities exploited in real-world cyberattacks • Understanding of malware analysis reports from automated malware-analysis sandboxes • Experience in technical writing for broad and diverse audiences • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Expel does not sponsor immigration visas • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
