📋 Description

• Draft, negotiate, review, and interpret commercial agreements, including vendor and other business-support agreements • Build and improve contract templates, playbooks, talk tracks, and legal processes • Develop, deliver, and refresh trainings on legal issues, contract best practices, and negotiating points • Provide practical legal analysis, strategy, and guidance to internal clients and cross-functional teams • Help clients implement legal guidance while balancing business objectives and legal risk • Manage assigned legal projects to completion • Assist with legal research, strategic transactions, and legal escalations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house • Experience with commercial contracts • Membership in at least one state bar • Strong drafting skills, including drafting from forms and from scratch • Understanding of legal terms and contract formulation principles, including confidentiality, indemnity, termination, and representations • Ability to negotiate with third parties in non-confrontational and adversarial scenarios • Ability to communicate legal requirements to internal clients • Strong work ethic, high standards, impeccable integrity, and analytical skills • Excellent judgment and ability to balance risk with business objectives • Ability to operate independently and escalate issues appropriately • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal skills and a reliable, self-starting, positive, inclusive, team-oriented attitude • ezCater does not sponsor applicants for work visas or legal permanent residence • Background check may be required following a conditional offer
