📋 Description

• Own all aspects of the Compliance Management Program for assigned entities or divisions and their products and services • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with identifying and assessing compliance risks and advising the Company on compliance responsibilities • Oversee compliance efforts and controls across the first and second lines of defense • Perform testing and monitoring activities for Company policies and regulatory requirements • Report compliance matters to senior management and the Board • Lead and manage Compliance professionals where applicable, including compensation, performance appraisals, development, and training • Mentor less senior Compliance Team Members • Design, implement, and oversee Compliance Management Program components using designated compliance technology • Partner with compliance leaders across the organization to support a global compliance function • Analyze and challenge assessments of the control environment, risk assessments, testing, corrective action plans, and regulatory responses • Develop and refine compliance routines • Identify and evaluate emerging risks and present findings using tools including data analytics • Influence cross-functional partners to drive compliance outcomes • Support compliance with policy mandates and regulatory requirements • Participate in business changes, projects, and other items affecting regulatory compliance • Translate complex regulatory topics into executive-ready communications • Inform senior management of significant compliance matters • Participate in regulator inquiries, inspections, and exams • Safeguard EZCORP, its clients, and their assets through compliance, policy adherence, and ethical judgment • Apply artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies to automate routine tasks and improve quality and efficiency • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of related experience in highly regulated industries • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred or relevant, equivalent experience • Industry-recognized compliance certifications preferred (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) • Experience with compliance management programs, regulatory requirements, risk assessments, controls, testing, monitoring, corrective action plans, regulatory issues, and complaints • Experience using compliance technology and data analytics • Ability to translate complex regulatory topics into executive-ready communications • Ability to apply artificial intelligence tools and emerging technologies • Ability to work with Legal, Operations, Finance, and first-line business functions • Ability to participate in discussions with regulators during inquiries, inspections, and exams
