📋 Description

• Prepare loan write-ups and annual reviews • Monitor credit file information for medium/difficulty-complexity loans • Spread and analyze business and personal financial statements and tax returns • Pull credit bureau reports and generate credit references • Generate projections and perform sensitivity analysis • Document findings and exceptions for Loan Officers and Loan Committee • Analyze borrowers’ financial condition, repayment capacity, collateral coverage, overall credit risk, loan structure, and documentation compliance • Assign preliminary risk ratings • Complete ongoing credit analysis and review functions • Monitor past due/non-accrual and watch-list loans, collections, and borrowing-base compliance • Check pledged assets as requested by Loan Officers • Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance issues • Interpret the SBA SOP • Complete underwriting tasks independently with minimal or no errors • Make sound credit decisions with limited supervision • Complete required training • Perform loss prevention and security responsibilities as applicable • Assume additional responsibilities as required

🎯 Requirements

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. • Literacy in English • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform required physical activities • Required close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance from a four-year college or university • Generally, five or more years’ related experience and/or training • Proficiency in Word and Excel • Knowledge or expertise with financial spreadsheet software, especially Moody’s spreadsheet software • Strong problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to prioritize and produce excellent work in a timely manner to meet deadlines • Detail-oriented and flexible • Working knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance issues • In-depth understanding and interpretation of the SBA SOP • Ability to complete underwriting tasks independently with minimal or no errors • Ability to make sound credit decisions
