📋 Description

• Own governance, planning, and execution of automation and integration initiatives across FTI manufacturing operations • Define integration standards and manage the automation program roadmap • Lead cross-functional teams to capture requirements, design automation solutions, select vendors, and oversee commissioning • Lead automation and integration programs supporting AGV/AMR deployment, material conveyance, robotics, controls integration, and smart factory initiatives • Establish standards for controls architecture, data protocols, cybersecurity, safety interlocks, and validation • Integrate PLCs, robotics, SCADA, and HMI with ERP, MES, and WMS systems • Define and execute smart factory roadmaps connecting production equipment and sensors to data platforms • Design secure, scalable IT/OT network architectures with IT/Business Technology • Lead vendor selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and validation • Coordinate control system, PLC/SCADA programming, and change management standards • Partner with Safety and Quality to ensure safety and quality requirements • Define and track automation KPIs, including uptime, cycle time, productivity, material flow, integration completion, and ROI • Provide executive-level reporting on roadmap, projects, risks, and financial impact • Lead and develop automation project managers, controls engineers, or integration specialists • Evaluate new hardware, software platforms, AI/ML capabilities, and predictive maintenance tools • Support Design for Automation, Design for Manufacturability, Lean, continuous improvement, decision-making, change management, and training initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing, computer science, controls engineering, or related field • Master's degree preferred • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, automation engineering, controls integration, or related field • Significant experience with AGVs, AMRs, robotics, conveyors, PLCs, SCADA, and HMI • Experience integrating manufacturing automation systems into production environments • Demonstrated experience with ERP, MES, WMS, or similar enterprise systems integration in manufacturing • Proven track record leading cross-functional programs spanning automation deployment, controls integration, and IT/OT convergence • Willingness/ability to travel 0–25% • Availability to work Monday through Friday between 7 am and 5 pm • Ability to pass a background and drug test
