📋 Description

• Work closely with the biologic/specialty medication specialist nurse to streamline processes • Communicate with providers, nurses, managers, and patients to track specialty medications and biologics • Professionally answer, screen, and direct telephone calls and make appointments as necessary • Run reports to track appointments and biologics inventory • Maintain the integrity of patient charts • Collect documentation for timely and accurate prior authorization and appeal submissions • Schedule physician peer-to-peer reviews for biologics and specialty medications as necessary • Interact with clients, insurance companies, sales representatives, providers, and patients • Monitor workflow and databases for outstanding authorizations or re-authorizations • Ensure timely processing of patients for services, care, and billing • Perform other relevant duties assigned by the manager • Support patient quality of life, organizational standards, applicable laws, and company core values

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in Biologics/Prior Authorizations • Knowledge of medical terminology • Familiarity with EMR systems • Strong attention to detail and organization skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook • Must reside in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Tennessee • Must be available during standard Eastern Time business hours • Ability to maintain and follow HIPAA policies and procedures
