📋 Description

• Guide patients through AdaptHealth using a patient-centered approach and effective communication • Respond to patient needs and provide an exceptional customer or patient experience • Work collaboratively with patients to support health outcomes and align with organizational goals • Send letters when patient contact cannot be made • Answer patient-needs emails promptly and follow through on emails and phone calls • Recommend equipment that may improve quality of care • Troubleshoot concentrators and other equipment by phone • Verify alternate contact information, delivery addresses, instructions, and telephone numbers • Review documentation before processing orders • Select cost-effective delivery methods and appropriate order-routing locations • Document delivery expectations, requests, and patient or family contacts • Route non-care-team orders to the appropriate department or regional branch • Complete orders received via CMB, email, fax, or phone • Identify system or process trends to improve efficiency and create cost savings • Assist co-workers with call schedules and assigned tasks • Participate in team activities, mentoring, and training • Develop and maintain staff reference materials and facilitate information sharing • Escalate patient concerns to the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent • One (1) year work related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry • Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience • Exact job experience includes tasks in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment that routinely bills insurance • Decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication • Strong organizational skills with ability to follow through • Ability to work independently and follow detailed directives • Ability to recognize weaknesses in existing systems and processes, track results, and offer creative solutions • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to learn new technologies and understand data flow and system interaction • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office knowledge
