📋 Description

• Oversees the integrity, security, accuracy, and accessibility of patient health information • Provides leadership and direction for HIM operations and staff • Collaborates with healthcare providers, administrators, revenue cycle leaders, and other key stakeholders • Conducts audits of patient records to ensure compliance • Manages and monitors organizational forms and their appropriate use in documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in health information management (or related field) • Five years’ experience, to include two years in a leadership role • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical coding systems, and health information technology • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office and web-based research experience • Management experience in a clinical setting preferred • Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) preferred. • Must have valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
