📋 Description

• Support the collaborative care team through regular consultations on an assigned caseload of patients • Advise the OB/GYN provider on appropriate medications and treatment strategies or see patients directly for short-term medication management • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits for patients via telehealth • Complete pre-conception medication consultation and psycho-education for individuals trying to conceive • Perform asynchronous caseload consultations through a review of clinical information • Complete documentation for case consultations and direct patient visits within 24 hours of visit • Work with care managers to oversee the status and population health of assigned patient caseload • Provide the care team with educational support on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions • Be available for ad hoc consultations to OB providers for complex cases

🎯 Requirements

• Licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner in MA • Able to practice independently without supervision in the state(s) of licensure • Hold an active DEA license in state(s) of licensure • Hold an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting • Excellent communication skills • Positive, flexible, and solution-focused attitude • Ability to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric data and formulate effective and evidence-based clinical recommendations • Passionate, driven, & inspired by a mission to improve perinatal and/or perimenopause mental healthcare delivery, particularly in vulnerable patient populations • Experience or interest in perinatal or perimenopause mental health and collaborative care.
