📋 Description

• Drive development, testing, documentation, and deployment of high-quality, scalable software into production • Shape team strategy and organizational direction using industry, product, and roadmap knowledge • Lead end-to-end technical execution of complex features and systems, from ideation and architecture through deployment and refinement • Define and enforce engineering principles, guidelines, and best practices • Partner with product, design, and other stakeholders on high-impact technical decisions • Lead incident resolution as part of the on-call rotation • Identify and remove project roadblocks • Conduct and elevate code reviews • Steer team planning and design discussions • Improve software quality, testability, operational metrics, and team documentation • Mentor and coach engineers at all levels • Be open to occasional travel to Fanatics offices and other locations

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building highly scalable Android applications with MVI Architecture • Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin • Android domain expertise, including platform best practices, trends, and end user considerations • Experience using Jetpack Compose and Direct Injection or ServiceLocator patterns • Expertise in Agile software delivery and SCRUM methodology • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across diverse teams within large enterprise environments • Experience in a high-growth environment with evolving priorities and rapid decision-making • Preferred: Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform • Preferred: Experience with Material Design, ideally Material 3 • Preferred: Client API Design and Client Backend experience • Preferred: Experience with GoLang, Swift, and Java
