Autopilot converts trillions of datapoints into ranked, actionable recommendations (breed, beef, DNB, sell, cull, watchlist) that sync into existing farm systems and prioritize profit rather than generic genetic rankings. The platform is built to reduce low-value replacements, improve semen allocation, maintain herd-size targets, and accelerate economic gain for farms.

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end project management of major operational initiatives • Manage general contractors, movers, vendors, timelines, change orders, budgets, and project schedules • Own facilities and workplace operations across office and lab sites, including leases, landlord relationships, maintenance, security, access, and workplace services • Own vendor management and procurement, including sourcing, contract negotiation, renewals, and purchasing processes • Partner with Finance on operating budgets, spend tracking, and vendor payments • Manage business insurance, entity and regulatory compliance filings, and the compliance calendar • Support company planning cadences, goal setting, operating reviews, and cross-functional initiatives • Plan company offsites, team gatherings, and in-person collaboration for a distributed team • Support employee lifecycle operations, including offer paperwork, onboarding, IT/equipment provisioning, role changes, and offboarding • Administer medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits; run open enrollment and manage broker/PEO relationships • Handle HR compliance, including I-9s, required postings, state and federal filings, leave administration, and employment policy updates • Maintain the employee handbook and core people policies • Own HRIS and people systems and maintain accurate employee data • Support performance review cycles, compensation reviews, and leveling frameworks • Serve as a discreet resource for employee relations questions and escalate appropriately • Partner with the Head of Talent on full-cycle hiring across engineering, lab/scientific, revenue, and operations roles • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, university programs, and agriculture and biotech networks • Screen applicants and conduct initial phone screens • Schedule and coordinate interviews, onsite visits, candidate travel, and candidate communications • Prepare offer letters and manage the handoff from accepted offer to the first day

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business operations, people operations, or a closely related role • Experience in an early- or growth-stage startup • Track record of owning complex, multi-stakeholder projects end to end • Hands-on experience managing contractors, vendors, and landlords, including negotiating contracts and managing change orders • Working knowledge of US HR compliance, benefits administration, payroll, and multi-state employment • Experience supporting recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, or onboarding • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across many parallel workstreams • Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive employee and company information • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves; no task too small, no project too ambiguous • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Visa sponsorship or transfers are unavailable
