📋 Description

• Facilitate Next Gen Conference curriculum content for high school students for one week • Facilitate curriculum in large and small groups • Provide counsel to participants and motivate students • Act as a tour group leader • Introduce industry professionals • Discipline conference participants when necessary • Participate in preconference training calls • Complete expense reports promptly • Schedule conference travel • Correspond with national FFA staff • Participate in three to four days of planning and training before the conference • Continuously improve the program and personal performance as a trainer and leader • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Passion for or experience in the relevant career pathway(s) • Ability to perform the mental and physical demands of the position • Dependable attendance and punctuality • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a frequently changing environment • Good interpersonal, listening, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to work with diverse internal and external people • Ability to provide excellent customer service • Ability to prioritize, organize, manage time, and multitask • Accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical ability • Computer literacy and ability to make and receive phone calls • Confidence speaking in front of small and large groups • Confidence using Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and related programs • Personal access to and ability to use a computer or laptop • High School Diploma or Some College • Previous FFA experience preferred • Application must include an online application, conference preference in the cover letter, current resume, cover letter, at least three references, and a live-audience facilitation video uploaded to YouTube for applicants who have not facilitated for National FFA before • Applicants must submit all materials by October 1, 2027 at 11:59 PM ET
