📋 Description
• Reviews and assesses the scientific literature on AD and related neurodegenerative diseases, with the purpose of evaluating and extracting the relevant data to input into appropriate databases and directories • Integrates scientific data from disparate sources into written summaries that are well-structured, referenced, accurate, and clear • Helps optimize data presentation using narrative descriptions, diagrams, tables, and other visualization tools • Collaborates with scientists on development of new datasets • Communicates with scientists, companies, and vendors as necessary to solicit, clarify, and provide information • Collaborates and provides input on the ongoing maintenance and design of the databases
🎯 Requirements
• Doctoral degree in biological or medical sciences required, preferably in neuroscience • Experience with bench research in an academic or industry laboratory • Domain knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases research • Ability to gather, evaluate, and synthesize published research findings • Excellent scientific writing skills, writes accurately, concisely, and with attention to detail • Team player with ability to work independently, and be open and responsive to feedback • Outstanding organizational skills with proven ability to set and meet deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
