• Oversee and support the Company's state and federal regulatory reporting obligations • Coordinate preparation, validation, and submission of HMDA, NMLS Mortgage Call Reports, and state-specific periodic reports • Maintain reporting calendars and ensure timely submissions across jurisdictions • Monitor regulatory changes and implement reporting updates • Oversee HMDA data integrity, validation, and reconciliation processes • Coordinate cross-functional data collection with Operations, Servicing, Secondary, and IT • Review edit checks and resolve data discrepancies before submission • Support annual HMDA submissions and respond to CFPB or state regulator inquiries • Maintain documentation of HMDA data governance controls and methodologies • Coordinate quarterly and annual MCR filings through NMLS • Reconcile financial and loan activity data with Finance and Accounting • Complete narrative responses and required attestations • Develop and maintain reporting procedures, data dictionaries, and methodology documentation • Establish and monitor reporting controls for accuracy and completeness • Conduct periodic internal reviews of reporting data • Identify and escalate reporting risks, trends, and inconsistencies • Support state and federal examinations related to regulatory reporting • Provide documentation and explanations regarding HMDA, MCR, and other filings • Draft written responses to regulator inquiries • Maintain centralized documentation within governance systems such as Archer • Perform other duties as assigned
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in compliance, risk management, or internal audit within financial services • Mortgage industry experience, including monitoring or testing of loan origination, performing servicing, and default servicing operations • Knowledge of the mortgage lending process and related legal and regulatory requirements • Experience across the full monitoring and testing lifecycle, including test design, execution, issue identification, root cause analysis, and remediation validation • Ability to draft clear, defensible issue statements and support corrective action efforts • Strong understanding of Regulation C (HMDA) requirements • Familiarity with NMLS and MCR reporting requirements • Experience working within established compliance or risk frameworks • Experience supporting co-sourced, outsourced, or offshore testing environments preferred • Experience with issue tracking systems such as Archer preferred • Interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Proficiency in MS Office Suite • Bachelor's Degree
