📋 Description

• Manage the month-end close process for FinanceWithin clients • Work as a consultant with FinanceWithin clients • Assemble monthly financial packets and present financial statements to clients • Oversee month-end closing and accounting activities • Circulate accurate and timely financial management reports, including monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets • Project and update cash flow and communicate cash position to clients • Create financial packages, including margin recognition and reconciliation/recording of sales, deferrals, accruals, returns, discounts, and write-offs • Manage and reconcile inventory, including physical inventory, subledger-to-GL reconciliation, accruals, samples, adjustments, obsolescence, and purchase orders • Reconcile bank, credit card, PayPal, Stripe, and other payment accounts • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and manage amortization schedules • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable • Manage AR aging reports • Manage AP in Bill.com or related software • Manage client payroll • Work with FinanceWithin management to support the team • Advise clients on accounting-related work • Handle general ledger accountability, financial analysis, financial reporting, profitability analysis, and special projects

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full cycle accounting • 2+ years of experience in a multi-client or consulting role • Advanced in QBO and Xero • Experience with e-commerce is a big plus (Shopify, PayPal, Bill.com, etc.) • Firm grasp of accounting principles • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Proactive and team-centric attitude • United States work authorization without sponsorship • Located in the United States
