📋 Description

• Meet with customers monthly or per contract to identify and address needs, problems, and concerns • Document business reviews and ensure follow-up • Pursue customer cost-reduction opportunities • Develop customer relationships and maintain high service levels • Respond to escalated customer purchase and service questions • Interpret and comply with contract requirements and ensure customer expectations are met • Supervise and coach Site Managers and site employees • Define site employee responsibilities and expectations for each IBS customer • Build relationships and assist with negotiating non-NAPA vendor pricing, inventory, service, and return privileges • Ensure Site Managers understand fiscal responsibility • Ensure service level agreements are delivered • Communicate operational goals covering fill rates, inventory management, and training opportunities • Complete company-provided IBS operations training and ensure direct and indirect reports do so

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in an automotive parts department, dealership, or retail establishment • Warehouse and inventory management experience • Ability to manage data analysis, heavy reconciliation, and reporting • College degree, technical school, or equivalent work experience required • ASE certification required • Ability to manage people, prioritize, and delegate to team members • Ability to read and interpret an operating statement and P&L • Understanding of district-level inventory management, including purchasing • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Demonstrated leadership in the automotive aftermarket industry, preferably in an automotive parts department, dealership, jobber, heavy-duty, or fleet establishment • Ability to ensure proper maintenance and protection of company equipment, inventory, and physical assets • Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and cataloging • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based parts research and sourcing • Ability to learn and use customer fleet management software • Flexibility with working hours, including emergency overtime related to weather conditions
