• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation • Maintain clean, well-documented balance sheet reconciliations • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process • Maintain schedules for accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets • Take ownership of core transactional processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll, with a willingness to step in and execute when needed • Investigate and resolve account discrepancies • Support financial statement preparation, reporting, and audit readiness • Mentor junior accounting staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 3+ years of accounting experience • Strong understanding of core accounting principles • Experience working with ERP systems • Experience supporting multi-state payroll processing and payroll tax compliance • Strong Excel skills • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to work independently and prioritize
