📋 Description

• Support Information Security awareness program initiatives • Protect information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, perusal, inspection, recording or destruction • Identify business process requirements and related business/application solutions • Provide training and support directly to customers • Research alternatives, prepare presentations, drive solutions, test, gain consensus and implement solutions for defined business processes • Create documentation of technical security requirements and functions • Generate reports, research and analyze data, and report trends to management/business partners • Oversee small to medium scale projects or phases of larger projects • Conduct risk assessments and interview internal and external customers • Support information systems development and the business community regarding risks associated with new or changing technologies • Keep abreast of industry advancements and incorporate knowledge into daily work • Participate in evaluation and selection of new technology • Resolve security problems across email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing and other platforms

🎯 Requirements

• Generally requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years information security experience • 2+ years experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, Checkpoint and PIX firewalls, CISCO; NAC; Identity management and encryption technologies • CISSP, GIAC, CCNA, CCNP preferred • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs
