• Identify and engage in new business opportunities with internal and external contacts. • Provide insurance expertise in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of assets and businesses. • Negotiate transactional risk insurance coverage options with insurance carriers, customers, and their attorneys. • Review transaction and due diligence materials to understand target company profiles and provide preliminary terms. • Analyze “critical flaws” potentially impacting the transaction and work closely with legal team on coverage or contractual risk management issues. • Leverage deep experience, knowledge, and data to deal with complex situations. • Serve as primary point of client contact on insurance opportunities from initial engagement through closing and policy issuance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience • JD Preferred • 5-7 years of successful Commercial Title/Commercial Real Estate industry experience • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals • Requires a valid driver’s license. • Reputation building client relationships • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, sales, and relationship management skills • Property & Casualty license and Excess/Surplus Lines license, or the ability to be licensed within the first 60 days of employment. • Ideal candidate will have five or more years of M&A experience as an attorney, transactional risk broker, or underwriter, accountant, investment banker, or other deal professional.
