📋 Description

• Review the work performed by all Field Techs • Review and direct drafting on appropriate boundary solutions • Review and certify that written descriptions of land and completed work meet legal requirements • Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of property and terrain • Conduct research in surveying and mapping methods • Write descriptions of property boundary surveys for deeds, leases, and other legal documents • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys • Describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed • Verify the accuracy of survey data, measurements, and calculations conducted at survey sites • Manage projects with complex inter-dependencies, balancing long-range projects and immediate tasks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying or survey related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years of experience • State Licensed PLS, PSM, RPLS or LS with experience • Licensed Surveyor in GA, TN & SC • Knowledge of public land survey system • AutoCAD experience • Good computer skills • Ability to research survey issues • Working knowledge of GPS, total stations and data collection • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and teamwork skills • Experience managing projects with complex inter-dependencies • Self-motivated; self-starter
