📋 Description

• Analyze retirement plan documents to assess design features, compliance requirements, and regulatory alignment • Translate business and client requirements into customized, compliant prototype plan documents • Draft, maintain, and update plan documents including 401(k), profit sharing, and money purchase plans • Perform protected benefits reviews to preserve participant rights during plan changes and conversions • Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and risks across plan documents and recommend effective solutions • Ensure all documents align with current IRS, ERISA, and applicable regulatory guidance • Collaborate with legal, compliance, operations, and client-facing teams • Support development of plan design documentation and implementation materials • Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated environment • Contribute to process improvements, quality standards, and documentation best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • Strong knowledge of defined contribution retirement plans and plan document structures • Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS qualification rules, and regulatory compliance standards • Experience analyzing plan documents, including amendments, restatements, and conversions • Ability to interpret complex legal and technical information with high attention to detail • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, structured documentation • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams • QKA certification or advanced credential such as QKC or ERPA preferred • Experience with plan mergers, conversions, and protected benefits analysis preferred • Familiarity with plan document systems such as Relius or similar platforms preferred • Experience maintaining plan document libraries or prototype language databases preferred • Exposure to document quality assurance processes and discrepancy resolution preferred • For positions located in the US, conditional offers require a drug test
