📋 Description

• Generate new business through calling efforts, joint sales opportunities, and revenue generation • Conduct senior-level calling efforts to develop new and existing client relationships • Lead strategic dialogues about treasury management industry issues, best practices, advice, and recommendations • Position the bank’s treasury management solutions and provide feedback to internal stakeholders • Determine and manage non-credit-related risk for customer portfolios • Calculate and advise internal teams on treasury service profitability • Collaborate with relationship management teams on client recommendations • Manage deposit relationships and acquire deposits • Manage the existing client portfolio, perform relationship reviews, service clients, and increase product cross-sell opportunities • Generate proposals, respond to RFPs, and coordinate implementation of new clients and services • Represent treasury management solutions in client roundtables, industry conferences, in-person meetings, webinars, and social media • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and complete required compliance training • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar’s compliance policies and procedures • Complete special projects and additional duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (4 years or equivalent) or equivalent work experience • 10+ years of experience in a treasury sales role • Expert knowledge of treasury management products and services • Expert understanding of business cash flows, accounting processes, and financial optimization • Expert understanding of treasury management value propositions in corporate treasury environments • Excellent understanding of UCC, Reg CC, Reg E, and related banking regulations • Expert sales and negotiation aptitude • Ability to communicate tactfully at a senior executive level • Senior-level contact with top clients and high-priority prospects • Professional verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated analytical skills and creative and strategic problem-solving ability • Strong time-management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives • Ability to prepare, present, and direct client proposals • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve service challenges or develop solutions • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships • 50% travel to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions is required • Moderate physical exertion and stamina, including standing, sitting, walking, driving, or infrequent lifting • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation strongly preferred
