• Serve as a subject matter expert in HR systems, particularly Workday, within the HR department • Support global Human Resources operational and functional processes through system analysis, testing, reporting, and business process design improvement • Gather and analyze business requirements; design, test, document, and provide end-user training for upgrades, updates, and enhancements • Translate HR business needs into system solutions • Recommend improvements to the functionality and effectiveness of HR systems • Develop deep familiarity with relevant Workday modules to support HR functional teams • Implement and maintain Workday initiatives and support bi-annual Workday release activities • Evaluate change requests, analyze system-wide impacts, recommend approvals, and prioritize and schedule approved requests • Run periodic system audits and distribute findings to users for correction • Analyze Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Payroll • Design, build, and test business processes, notifications, condition rules, calculated fields, custom notifications, help text, and other system enablement activities • Implement new Workday features with minimal operational disruption • Identify patterns in system or process issues and recommend solutions • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and reconciliations • Execute quality assurance efforts for HR systems processes, data, and information • Serve as the primary contact for HRIS inquiries and technical issues • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly and effectively
• Bachelor’s degree preferred • 3–5 years of HR Operations experience, including hands-on exposure to HRIS platforms such as Workday • Experience working within Workday to support HR processes • Ability to define problems, perform system analysis, curate and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including payroll, benefits administration, talent acquisition, and performance management • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Index functions • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and in team-based scenarios • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to manage confidential information • Ability to learn independently using Workday documentation and online videos • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work on highly cross-functional, geographically distributed project teams • Self-driven; able to lead others or work autonomously to drive solution decisions, troubleshoot system issues, and perform root cause analysis • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment • Must not require employer sponsorship; Fluence does not sponsor work visas for this position
