📋 Description

• Responsible for the design and optimization of the modulation and control algorithms for various power conversion modules, including bi-directional onboard chargers and DC/DC converters for all operating modes and conditions. • Develop novel control strategies to improve system performance, robustness, and costs through extensive modeling and HIL simulation. • Work closely with systems, hardware, software, and test engineers on the team to plan, implement and validate the control strategies. • Work with power conversion module suppliers to ensure and help improve the stability and performance of their control strategies. • Provide support to resolve customer concerns, investigate and troubleshoot system faults and errors. • Connect with focus groups and forums to stay at the forefront of technological advancements to keep the team abreast of the latest power conversion topologies and control techniques.

🎯 Requirements

• Master or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering; or a combination of equivalent experience and education. • 3+ years of working experience in power converter control design and development. • Deep understanding of various high-power conversion topologies (PFC, CLLC and DAB DC/DC etc.), including their operation principles and switching/commutation details. • Solid circuit and system-level modeling and simulation skills using common tools, such as PLECS and Simulink. • Experience in simulation, design, and testing with real-time HIL. • Hands-on experience implementing modulation and close-loop control of soft-switching OBC and high-power DC/DC products • Strong communicator, able to effectively present to technical audiences. • Team player working in a diverse group in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. • Self-starting with solid follow-through and multitasking abilities; able to work with limited supervision.
