📋 Description

• The people of Ford Motor Credit Company have a 60-year commitment to helping put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. • By partnering with dealerships, we provide financing, personalized service, and professional expertise to five thousand dealers and more than four million customers in over 100 countries around the world. • The software product organization within Ford Credit seeks to deeply understand our customer so that we may provide digital solutions that improve their ability to finance and own Ford and Lincoln vehicles. • Ford Credit Platform Engineering is looking for a Technical Project Manager specializing in management of delivery of work through sprints and Program Increments. • You will work on managing the governance and maintaining control of highly complex, cross-team, multi-project programs. • You will help delivery teams be laser focused on delivering work with quality while maintaining the control of noise in the ecosystem and minimize the affect of it on the core team delivering the work. • The primary customers for the role are engineering leaders, product managers, developers, and analytics teams within Ford Credit.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant area of study or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. • 8+ years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area • Extensive experience using, managing, and supporting teams with Agile program management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, etc. • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area (even better) • Certification in Project or Program Management such as PMP, etc. (even better) • Certification in Lean-Agile practices, such as Certified Scrum Master or SAFe (even better) • Experience managing complex programs with solutions relying on cloud-native technologies (even better) • 12+ years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area (even better) • Extensive experience managing programs supporting Platform service-oriented or SaaS based solutions (even better) • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to influence the enterprise (even better) • Experience of administration and control of use access, workflows, trackers in JIRA and Confluence (even better).
