• Support month-end close processes, financial reporting, treasury, accounts payable, expense processes, and internal controls • Execute and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses • Independently manage assigned areas of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes • Assist with financial reporting • Assist with administration of the Company’s SOX compliance program • Complete and document assigned controls and perform tests of controls • Review and enter vendor invoices, including coding, supporting documentation, and approval routing • Maintain the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to inquiries • Create and maintain vendor master files • Review employee expense reports and assist with related questions • Reconcile monthly credit card statements • Prepare and process weekly payment runs • Use accounting software such as NetSuite or Tipalti • Identify continuous improvement opportunities within processes and systems • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners • Handle sensitive financial information professionally
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field • 1+ years of relevant work experience • Exposure to accounting software (e.g. NetSuite or similar) • Microsoft Excel knowledge at basic to intermediate level • Exposure to financial reporting or reconciliation tasks • Familiarity with GAAP and basic financial reporting principles • Experience working in a team environment or cross-functional projects • Understanding and application of basic accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) • Ability to execute and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses • Familiarity with financial statements • Ability to assist with SOX compliance, control documentation, and control testing • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, and pivot tables • Clear written and verbal communication • Professionalism in handling sensitive financial information • Progress toward CPA or interest in pursuing certification is preferred • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail
