• Develop test methods and procedures to transition products from design into volume manufacturing • Design automated tests, frameworks, and fixtures for software and hardware validation, including integration, unit, and system testing within an end-to-end test framework • Execute regression, performance, stress, and reliability tests for FORT devices manually or automatically • Establish test plans, procedures, and documentation for repeatable and reliable testing • Collaborate with internal and external hardware and software design teams to identify, debug, and resolve firmware and electrical hardware issues • Contribute to design reviews and define testability requirements early in product development • Support the product engineering team in developing and maintaining R&D test environments • Work with manufacturing partners to create and document hardware and software production test processes • Support production and program management with technical expertise for special customer deliveries • Contribute to re-engineering current designs to improve quality and manufacturability • Work directly with customers at customer sites to drive customer success through direct enablement
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing tests for complex embedded products • 2+ years of experience in embedded software test automation and test framework development • Proficiency in Python and Bash • Experience with NumPy and Pandas • Experience with hardware and software validation processes and infrastructures, including Hardware-in-the-loop and Software-in-the-loop • Familiarity with Docker • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins • Experience with Git version control • Experience designing custom hardware and software fixtures or tools for embedded system testing • Experience with wired networking technologies: Ethernet, CAN, and UART • Experience with wireless networking technologies: BLE, Wi-Fi, and LTE • Ability to track multiple efforts and report status to various stakeholders • Ability to communicate solutions, ideas, and processes to technical and non-technical staff • Expertise in Pytest/test frameworks and scaling system design principles • Familiarity with C++ and MATLAB • Skilled in requirement management tools such as Jama and Polarion, and requirement testing • Experience in custom hardware design • Experience with safety standards such as IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 • Preferred degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field • Growth-minded and seeking an opportunity to advance with FORT • Enthusiasm for products and technologies with real-world impact
