📋 Description

• Track and communicate changes in local, regional, national, and international regulations affecting the business • Maintain a regulatory strategy aligned with business goals and timelines • Ensure contracts with state and county agencies, Medicaid payors, and MCOs comply with legal and regulatory requirements • Lead Change of Ownership (CHOW) applications and state licensure processes for new markets • Ensure accuracy of documentation supporting contracts • Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and renewing agreements • Maintain records of contracts, licensing documents, and compliance filings • Lead submission and tracking of new state Medicaid applications • Maintain comprehensive policies and procedures reflecting regulatory requirements and industry standards • Maintain centralized P&P governance, including version control, approval workflows, and change management • Ensure policies and procedures are accessible • Manage P&P lifecycle: creation, review, approval, distribution, training, and obsolescence • Coordinate with Compliance and Operations to ensure P&Ps are accurate and enforceable • Perform additional compliance duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Policy, or a related field (required) • Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry (required) • Experience with contract management, licensing, or regulatory compliance in healthcare, Medicaid, or managed care (preferred) • Experience with state Medicaid/Medicare applications or regulatory filings (preferred) • In-depth knowledge and experience as a seasoned compliance professional • Notary Public certification (preferred) • Strong attention to detail, organization, and regulatory knowledge • Experience in Policy and Procedures Management • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Ability to work with highly protected information • Ability to use best practices and business knowledge to improve departmental services and deliverables • Ability to solve problems of diverse scopes requiring analysis and perspective-taking • Ability to work independently within established guidelines, policies, and regulations • Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions • Ability to act as a resource for less experienced colleagues • Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and collaborate to build consensus and solutions
