📋 Description

• Lead and execute comprehensive, organization-wide security assessments for diverse client organizations across multiple industries • Conduct client interviews independently, virtually and onsite • Review policies and procedures • Observe and evaluate physical and operational controls within client facilities • Manage multiple client assessments, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously • Communicate complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences • Document assessment findings and present results to client leadership teams • Identify and prioritize security remediation tasks with clients • Educate clients on information security concepts and principles • Advise clients on implementing suitable information security controls • Provide insight on relevant regulatory and best-practice information security standards • Maintain and develop technical and security knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in information security or a related field, consisting of work and educational experience • Solid understanding of basic information security concepts • Experience managing risk assessments across multiple industries preferred • Strong motivation for pursuing an information security career • Baseline understanding of information security foundations, including asset management, data security, network management, physical security, and security governance • Self-motivated and proactive in seeking learning opportunities • Ability to complete a variety of information security-focused risk assessments independently • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines across multiple engagements • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Ability to build strong client relationships and convey findings clearly and professionally • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable recommendations and business terms • Demonstrated technical confidence and credibility when discussing security concepts, frameworks, and vulnerabilities • Excellent interviewing, analytical, and critical thinking skills • Professional certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar preferred but not required • Only candidates located in the United States will be considered • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday • Ability to periodically work outside 8:00am-5:00pm Central Time to accommodate United States client time zones • Willingness to undertake regular local and long-distance travel, including 2-3 night stays 1-2 times monthly
