📋 Description

• Provide pre-sales demonstrations of high-resolution ultrasound and photoacoustic equipment at the Toronto-based training facility and customer locations • Travel to and participate in trade shows, conferences, and workshops as a subject matter expert • Conduct customer training on newly acquired equipment at the Toronto facility and customer locations • Provide pre-installation and post-installation application support • Address and resolve customer satisfaction issues • Deliver product, application, and development presentations at customer sites, conferences, workshops, and virtually • Collect user feedback for product development initiatives • Assist in evaluating new products and collaborate with Product Management • Develop procedure manuals, training protocols, and scientific documents • Establish partnerships with research labs, develop protocols, and complete experiments • Maintain extensive knowledge of VisualSonics products and applications • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams • Provide technical support and ensure customers understand the use and benefits of VisualSonics technology

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in a relevant scientific discipline preferred, or equivalent experience • Extensive experience in preclinical imaging, particularly ultrasound and photoacoustic technology • Strong technical background and ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences • Excellent knowledge of small animal anatomy and physiology • In-depth knowledge of oncology, cardiology, and neurobiology • Good understanding of genetics and molecular biology • Proficiency with imaging software and analytical tools • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including occasional international trips • Valid driver’s license and passport required • Excellent oral and written English communication skills • Excellent presentation skills • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Excellent scientific writing skills and good business sense • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent priority-setting and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure • Ability to handle concurrent tasks • Ability to adapt to changing environments • Ability to take initiative • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up • Proven ability to mentor less experienced peers • Positive professional attitude and eagerness to learn
